City life too loud and stressful?

Find some zen at 37 Degrees Café, a new temple café in PJ.

Located inside Yuan Lin Xiao Zhot Buddhist Temple, 37 Degrees Café is Malaysia's first temple coffee shop, where you can enjoy coffee and light bites in a calm setting.

This unconventional café offers a sharp contrast between Eastern religion and Western coffee culture. It is a growing trend in China, gaining popularity among Gen Z and millennials.

The café aspires to be a peaceful sanctuary that helps you find balance. Their motto is: "Thirty-seven degrees is the perfect temperature, and it's also the life rhythm we want to share."

The decorations feature framed calligraphy and temple symbols like dragons and flowers.

Whether you prefer the cool indoors or the fresh air outside, the café offers comfortable seating in both areas

Inside, two traditional chabudai, low Japanese-style tables are arranged atop smooth tatami (woven) mats. This setup encourages up to eight people to shed their footwear at the entrance, allowing them to sit comfortably on the floor.

With air conditioning and no music, the café feels peaceful and welcoming, like being at home.
