Natalina Italian Kitchen is run by Italian chef Diego Reali who brings out flavourful dishes with recipes inspired by his mother. The menu includes pastas, pizzas, grilled meats, and an array of dessert and wine. But other than delicious food, the restaurant has a fancy ambience, so you have an excuse to dress in your best outfit.

Tucked away along Jalan Kamunting is this colourful restaurant and bar that specialises in Afro-Caribbean cuisine. With an ambience that's said to feel as if you're on vacation, JOLOKO is a vibrant space that gives off a celebratory vibe even on its own.

Customers recommend booking a reservation in advance as it can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends.

Just a stone's throw away is Licky Chan, the boozy ice cream parlour if you're feeling like dessert after dinner.

Butty Boy Cooks is a spacious restaurant in PJ serving Thai and Western fusion dishes. Head here if you're looking for a casual brunch or dinner. Some of their dishes include kam heong lala and pineapple fried rice with udang galah. It's said to get pretty packed at peak hours, so do make a reservation beforehand.

They also rent the restaurant for events, if you have a private celebration or function.

It includes a private three-course dinner for two (worth RM218), a bottle of red wine or non-alcoholic Chardonnay, and a two days, one night romantic stay all for the price of RM398.

Standing out in the heart of Chinatown, KL is this colourful restaurant and bar that serves a unique combination of Chinese and Western dishes, such as Szechuan minced pork with pickled vegetables along with a Scottish Breakfast set all in one menu.

Some of their drinks come with a unique twist as well, like Mapo Tofu and Bacon and Egg Martini. Try them out if you're feeling adventurous!

ALIYAA KL serves Sri Lankan cuisine, with their signatures — crab curry and their must-try apam. They serve both lunch and dinner. One customer shares that their mutton bone peratal doesn't disappoint either.

Bestow is a quaint cafe that recently opened along Jalan Imbi, with a rustic interior and exterior that'll surely bring out nostalgic memories.

If you're not one to celebrate by painting the town red, come here for a peaceful afternoon and enjoy a cup of coffee or try their shakshouka with beef bacon, home-cured salmon toast, or beef stroganoff with toast. They also serve refreshing smoothies that look amazing!
