2. Oh Cha Matcha

Oh Cha Matcha imports their premium grade matcha powder directly from Kyoto, Japan. They have five healthy selections of sugar-free, non-dairy milk, which includes unsweetened soy milk, almond milk, cashew milk, oat milk, and coconut milk. 

Their matcha drinks are available in several fun flavours, including strawberry, mango, watermelon, beetroot, ginseng, and calamansi. They also serve handmade matcha pasta and matcha-flavoured burnt cheesecake.

Located in Gasket Alley, HEJAÜ only opened at the end of 2020, but has since managed to draw quite a crowd of matcha fans. Modest and minimalistic, this cafe is super Instagram-worthy, with its exposed red brick walls, colourful mural, and tranquil greenery.

Their speciality matcha beverages have a unique local twist, as they are combined with Malaysian favourites like coconut, pineapple, barley, and sugarcane. Their range of desserts includes their matcha polo bun, matcha butter cake, and matcha cheesecake.
