On their menu, they have nasi lemak pandan chicken, curry mee, among other tasty dishes. They also have a good spread of Nyonya kuih for tea!

Anytime is a good time for bak kut teh! Although you probably already have your go-to BKT spot, Kee Hiong in SS2 is worth checking out. They do soup and dry BKT, both of which taste good.

Rainy day or not, this shop serves comfort food in a hot bowl of soup. They have several varieties of fish head noodles, which you can have with or without milk, or with wine. YUM.

Although Tasty Porridge in SS2 is a common spot for PJ residents, several foodies recommend Ming Kee Porridge, which, according to them, competes for serving some of the best porridge in the area. They also have other dishes like duck rice.

What's a weekend morning without some good ol' dim sum?

Having been around for years, this dim sum shop in SS2 is unlike typical popular dim sum restaurants with air-conditioning. But if you're looking for good, comfort food in SS2, they are one of the tops on my list.

Sometimes simplicity is the best. This coffee shop in SS2 is said to have a good selection of Penang food that's tasty and affordable.

To chilli pan mee fans, this place needs no introduction. Their popularity has led them to open several branches all over Klang Valley, including one at Chow Yang.

Aside from Restoran Kin Kin and Jojo Little Kitchen, Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee is also on the list of places where you can find good pan mee, whether soup or dry.

Having been around for about 30 years, this restaurant serves authentic Nyonya cuisine made with love. Even Peranakan customers rave about it.

Some of the items on their menu include prawn with petai, kapitan chicken, sayur paku lemak, among other Peranakan dishes.

Another option for char siew wan tan mee in SS2 is Chan Meng Kee. Take note that it can get pretty crowded at peak hours. Their curry mee soup is also pretty thick and flavourful.
