1. Godspeed running club

Godspeed running club hosts occasional events and collaborations where you can run with a community, enjoy food and drinks, and connect with like-minded people. They also run weekly sessions.

To join, you can either be referred by an existing member, participate in one of their events, or simply send them a DM to introduce yourself.

2. Brand New Waves Running Club

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, all abilities are welcome at Brand New Waves Running Club.

They host runs every Thursday night, usually in TTDI or other spots around KL, making it a great way to stay active and explore the city.

3. Journey Run Club

Journey Run Club is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to ease back into running. They meet every Monday at 8.15pm at Sri Hartamas Park for weekly runs.

No registration or prior experience is needed — just show up! With three different pace groups, you'll find the right fit no matter your level, making it a relaxed and welcoming way to get moving.

4. KL Frontrunners

KL Frontrunners is a running group in KL that's part of the global Frontrunners network, which promotes inclusivity.

It's a social and fitness-focused club open to people of all fitness levels, offering a supportive environment for running enthusiasts.

The group typically organises runs every Saturday at KLCC park at 8.15am. All you need to do is show up in front of KLCC's open parking area. If you'd like, you can also join the group for coffee and chit chat after the run at 9am.

7. Mont Kiara Running Club

Mont Kiara Running Club brings together a vibrant mix of locals and expats who enjoy both the social and competitive aspects of running. The group regularly meets to run around the Mont Kiara and Hartamas areas, covering both road routes and the scenic trails near Bukit Kiara.

With a range of abilities — from casual runners to those training for anything from 10km races to 100km ultras, trail runs, triathlons, and even Ironman events — there's a place for everyone. 

They run on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, as well as on Sunday mornings, with smaller group runs happening on other days.

8. New Balance Run Club Malaysia

9. Naked Spirit Runners

Naked Spirit Runners hosts exciting night runs every Thursday at 8pm, meeting at LHDN, Jalan Duta.

11. AntzColony Running Club

AntzColony Running Club hosts weekly workout and run sessions on Tuesday nights at Komo Cafe TTDI at 7.45pm.

They also do community runs on Sundays during car-free mornings in KL, where they meet up at 6.45am at Tapak Urban Street Dining.

12. Damansara Heights Weekly Run

Damansara Heights Weekly Run is a friendly, non-competitive jogging/running club in the Damansara Heights neighbourhood.

It is completely free and open to all levels of runners. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or experienced runner, the pace and intensity are adapted to the group, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable experience.

They meet every Wednesday morning at 7.15am near Babulan Restaurant/DV Restaurant in Damansara Heights.

If you'd like to join, reach out to the organiser via WhatsApp here. You'll then be added to a "weekly run" WhatsApp group, where you'll receive updates on upcoming runs.
