Sipping tea and walking through strawberry farms aren't going to be the only activities you can do in Cameron Highlands. Get excited 'coz there's gonna be a brand new theme park!

ESCAPE will be opening its first-ever European-themed theme park with a 1.2km dry-ski-slope – the first of its kind in the equatorial region – along with other signature rides and attractions

Spanning across a 60-acre valley, ESCAPE Cameron Highlands will include retro-eco European-themed villages for visitors who want to escape the heat and experience a 'European' environment.

True to its core beliefs, the theme park will be built with a "minimalist approach to construction, minimal disturbance to nature, lots of tree planting, minimal use of energy, rainwater harvesting, and lots of recycling initiatives".

This will be ESCAPE's largest theme park in Malaysia, next to its first water park with the world's longest slide in Penang and challenge park at Paradigm Mall PJ

ESCAPE Cameron Highlands will be split into five different European villages at varying elevations – starting with the Iberian village at the bottom, followed by the British, Balkan, and Nordic villages moving up, before finally peaking at the Alpine village at the top.

"The conception of these five themed villages leveraged on our expertise in designing and building themed facades across multiple theme parks around the world, including Europe. These themed villages will also feature accommodation and rental offerings, in addition to hosting traditional European pastimes and activities, which will complement the 'fun factor' of ESCAPE's signature Gravityplay and Adventureplay attractions," said Sim Choo Kheng, founder of Sim Leisure Group and ESCAPE Theme Parks.

If all goes smoothly, phase one of the project is estimated to be completed within 15 to 18 months.

We can't wait!
