Travellers Visiting Thailand During Songkran Holidays Gifted Moo Deng Dolls At Airports

Imagine waiting to collect your luggage after a flight, only to be greeted by a baggage tray full of Moo Deng plushies!

To welcome travellers during the Songkran holidays, passengers arriving in Thailand between 11 and 17 April will be gifted an adorable plush doll of the viral pygmy hippo, reported The Bangkok Post.

Dressed in a vibrant Songkran-style floral shirt, the little hippo dolls have wide, open mouths, closely resembling their real-life counterpart.

Appearing in batches (sometimes individually between luggages), travellers got to take home this cutie.

These special Moo Deng dolls appeared on the baggage carousels at five airports: Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Mae Fah Luang in Chiang Rai, Phuket, and Hat Yai
