Malaysian eateries nationwide are currently participating in the Menu Rahmah initiative, where 12,000 eateries are offering budget-friendly food to help ease the rising cost of living

Also participating in the initiative is Warong Pecel Lele, an eatery located at a food court near the TS Sports Arena in Shah Alam, according to a report by New Straits Times.

To set themselves apart from the crowd, the owner of the eatery, 21-year-old Muhammad Syafiq Saifullah, has come up with creative titles for his RM5 "Menu Rahmah" set meals. And it just so happens to be the names of Malaysian ministers.

According to Syafiq, he wanted to support the initiative by providing affordable meals to his customers but also wanted to place a unique twist on his food.

"When the government announced the Menu Rahmah, we decided to join. We thought it would be a good way to help the people save on food costs," the stall owner said.

"We have a wide variety of sets and it's not just limited to one menu. Naming it after ministers was just to add some flourish to it."

Syafiq said that since the launch of his budget set meals, his customers have been responding well to them.
