"9 Million Views!" – M'sian Newlyweds' Musical Wedding Goes Viral For Their Cute Dances

This is too lovely!

Many people want their wedding ceremony to be just like in the songs... or just in like the movies...

But this Malaysian couple decided to have them both by dancing to a medley of songs, like what you would see in a musical.

The lovely five-minute onstage show was performed by Farzana and Danial during their wedding ceremony last Sunday, 11 December.

The dance was captured in a video that has racked up over nine million views on Farzana's TikTok account @farzanaisml.

It begins with Danial lipsyncing to the song, Marry You, by Bruno Mars before slowly and suavely grooving to the tunes.

After a few verses, Farzana joins in and shoulder dances to the song while carrying a sweet smile.

It is these small moments of cute movements that captivated millions of viewers to continue watching.

The couple then continues to dance while remaining seated on the pelamin, which the choreography resembles some of those from musical classics such as Singin' In The Rain and La La Land

When the song almost arrives at the chorus, the couple stands up and proceeds to the dance floor in front, where they are joined by their friends.

Instantly, it becomes a flashmob.

Speaking to SAYS, Farzana said they took less than a month to practise the dance moves

She said the choreography, which began on 15 November, was directed by Faris Azim, a popular dancer who boasts over 24,000 followers on Instagram.

The wedding was held at Putra Glass Hall, Shah Alam, and their performance involved two songs, with the other being I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas.

"I've had it all planned in my head for the longest time: utilising the pelamin during the dance," she said when contacted.

"I told my friend, the choreographer, that this is what id like to do, and that I'll leave the choreography to him because I fully trust he can deliver it well. And he did! Fell in love the first time he showed us (the choreography)."

"I'm the type of person who does everything by [going the extra mile] and giving my all. And with the wedding, I knew I didn't want anything typical. I wanted to personalise it to represent who I am and my relationship with Danial."

Even though they were busy organising their own wedding on top of their day jobs, they still found time to practise on their own, with Farzana guiding Daniel sometimes.

She said her husband had never danced before, hence, she was proud of him for pushing through to deliver a spectacular performance with only three classes with the choreographer.

You can watch the full performance in a separate TikTok below, which has garnered over 2.1 million views as of writing:
