Malaysian Couple Hosts Mini Petting Zoo With Chickens, Snakes & Frogs At Their Wedding
When you marry an animal lover.
When you marry an animal lover, expect animals to be a big part of your life — and maybe even your wedding.
A couple in Negeri Sembilan recently turned their love for animals into the highlight of their big day, featuring a mini petting zoo with snakes, frogs, lizards, chickens, and ducks for guests to enjoy.
Their wedding planner, @afifah_events, shared a video of the unique celebration on TikTok captioned: "When you marry a veterinarian instead of a normal person."
"We've planned hundreds of weddings, but this one is a real winner," they added.
Speaking to SAYS, the planner later clarified that the groom is actually an animal trainer, not a vet — but the animals were indeed brought from his workplace.
"It was fun to plan the wedding around his idea, and the guests absolutely loved the animals!" they shared.

The video shows guests, especially kids, eagerly interacting with the animals. It wasn't just a wedding; it was an experience.
Guests were able to get up close and personal with the animals, to see, hold, and snap photos with them — something you don't usually find at your typical wedding.
Nonetheless, the planner described the celebration as intimate and authentic, noting how the bride and groom stayed true to themselves and their love for animals.
"The kids were happy, the mums were excited, and even the uncles were entertained," they said.

"Theme: Aesthetic? No. Exotic? Yes!" one user commented.
Another wrote, "This is so different from other weddings," while someone else chimed in, "Now this is what we call personal style."

Some even joked about what their own weddings might look like if also inspired by their partner's profession
"If I marry a history teacher, I guess I'll need a museum," one joked.
Another said, "I'm an engineer, so I guess my wedding needs a final-year project exhibition."
