Putri Ariani, a visually impaired singer from Indonesia impressed America's Got Talent (AGT) judges with her audition on the popular reality competition, and received the 'Golden Buzzer' from Simon Cowell

Her extraordinary audition has garnered over 7.8 million views on YouTube since it was uploaded only a day ago by AGT.

"My biggest challenge is that people look at me as a blind person, not as a musician but when I'm singing I feel like a superstar," shared the 17-year-old while she was onstage with the audience in Los Angeles, US.

Putri told judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofía Vergara, that her dream is to become the biggest diva in the world like Whitney Houston, and win a Grammy award.

She also aspires to further her studies at The Julliard School in New York after completing high school.

For her audition, Putri played the piano and sang an original song composed by herself called Loneliness

Audience members and judges were left stunned as the young teen's powerful voice filled the hall.

At the end of her audition, Cowell ran up on stage and requested her to sing a second song.

"I liked her voice so much, I would like her to sing a second song please," he said when Vergara wondered if he didn't like her first song.

Dedicating her encore to Simon, Putri sang Elton John's Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word, which she had originally prepared for the audition

Her performance was met with pin-drop silence before members of the audience and judges gave Putri a roaring standing ovation.

"Your voice, you're an angel," said Vergara.

"A lot of people don't believe in angels but I think one just landed on our stage. You're a superstar!" added Mandel.

Klum praised how she effortlessly changed her voice during her performance.

Putri was left in tears after receiving so much love from the judges and audience, but there was still one more surprise left for her.

Cowell put the cherry on top by pushing the coveted 'Golden Buzzer'

"You are, I think, one of the best singers we've ever had on our show," said Simon.

When asked my host Terry Crews why he pushed the 'Golden Buzzer', Simon simply said it was because she is brilliant.

If you're a fan of AGT, you would know that the 'Golden Buzzer' means that Putri has guaranteed herself a spot in the AGT live shows.

According to NBC, the judges and host only have the privilege of pushing the 'Golden Buzzer' once during the auditions.

The humble teen with more than 540,000 followers on Instagram, is not a newbie in the world of music

According to Harian Metro, she won Indonesia's Got Talent in 2014 when she was only eight years old.

Putri has also notably performed at the opening ceremony of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Para Games in 2018 when Indonesia was the host.

In 2020, she released her first album titled 'Melihat Dengan Hati'.
