Actress Siti Saleha Wins 'Outstanding Asian Star' At 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards
She was among seven winners from Asia.
Malaysian actress Siti Saleha has been named one of the seven winners of the Outstanding Asian Star award at the 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards

This prestigious recognition was based on votes from global fans, recognising her stellar performance in the Tonton Original Series, SeOfis, which premiered on Tonton earlier this year.
"I'm very honoured to have been nominated for this award, especially since this recognition comes from an international level awards show," she said during a G-meet with media on Monday, 23 September.
In SeOfis, Siti Saleha stars as Sam, alongside two other lead characters portrayed by Nadiya Nisaa and Nadia Aqilah.
The series revolves around three entrepreneurial women navigating the challenges of running their own businesses in a shared workspace while building deep personal and professional connections.
The Seoul International Drama Awards is an annual event celebrating excellence in television dramas from around the world.
This year's edition was held on 25 September in Seoul, South Korea.
Established in 2006, the awards have grown into one of the most respected platforms for honouring outstanding achievements in drama production, attracting submissions from Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond.
Categories include Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, and the fan-voted Outstanding Asian Star.
Siti credited her win to the unwavering support of her fans over the years. She also expressed hope that this award would inspire and demonstrate to other Malaysian actors that dreaming big and gaining international recognition is entirely achievable.

Along with Siti Saleha, several other notable actors from across Asia were also awarded the Outstanding Asian Star title
These include South Korean actors Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon for their roles in Lovely Runner, Singapore's Desmond Tan for All That Glitters and Moments, and Thailand's Win Metawin for Enigma and Beauty Newbie.
Filipino actress Kim Chiu was recognised for her performance in Linlang, and Indonesia's Ochi Rosdiana received the award for her acting achievements.
